Apple is preparing to reveal its long-awaited artificial intelligence roadmap in the coming weeks, with analysts predicting a major announcement at or before the upcoming Apple Developer Conference in June. According to a new report from Wedbush, Apple has now moved past most tariff-related supply chain disruptions and is refocusing on AI innovation as its next growth engine.
Wedbush analysts believe Apple will name Alibaba as its AI partner in China, a move that would mark a significant step in building out a global AI strategy with strong regional foundations. China is expected to play a central role in Apple’s AI expansion, offering both scale and technological collaboration.
This strategic shift is seen as the beginning of what Wedbush calls a “renaissance of growth” for Apple, powered by its AI initiatives. At the upcoming press event, investors and developers are expected to learn more about Apple Intelligence, including key features and integrations across the Apple ecosystem.
As Big Tech accelerates AI adoption, Apple’s entry into the space—with a tailored China partnership—signals its intention to compete aggressively in both consumer and enterprise AI markets.
