According to data reported by Mars Finance, BlackRock and Strategy—formerly known as MicroStrategy—now collectively hold nearly 1.2 million Bitcoins, underscoring their dominant presence in the institutional crypto space.
Strategy currently holds approximately 568,840 BTC, continuing its aggressive accumulation strategy under the leadership of Michael Saylor. Meanwhile, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has rapidly grown to hold around 627,985 BTC, as inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs remain strong.
Together, these holdings represent more than 5% of the total Bitcoin supply, highlighting the accelerating pace of institutional adoption and the central role of large asset managers in shaping the market’s liquidity and sentiment.
