In Brief:
A whale wallet that received 76,000 ETH during Ethereum's 2015 ICO has now sold all of it.
After liquidation, the wallet sent 2,000 ETH (worth ~$3.66 million) to crypto exchange Kraken.

In a rare on-chain move, a long-dormant Ethereum whale from the 2015 ICO era has finally exited their ETH position. On-chain tracker @ai_9684xtpa flagged that the address, which originally received 76,000 ETH nearly a decade ago, fully liquidated its holdings today.

Following the sell-off, the whale transferred 2,000 ETH—approximately $3.66 million—to Kraken, likely for sale or conversion. This move marks the end of a long HODL period and signals renewed whale activity at a time when ETH remains under pressure.

While the exact timing or pricing of the liquidation is unclear, the wallet's exit adds to a growing trend of early Ethereum investors taking profits or reshuffling their portfolios amid evolving market conditions.

Analysts will be watching Kraken wallets closely for signs of large ETH inflows or outflows in the coming days, as whale activity often precedes price volatility.
