Bitcoin ETF inflows hit $255M, Ethereum ETF nets 27,202 ETH in one day

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs posted major inflows on May 15, signaling continued institutional interest despite recent market volatility.

According to Lookonchain data, 10 U.S. Bitcoin ETFs recorded a combined net inflow of 2,494 BTC (around $255 million). iShares by BlackRock contributed the majority, purchasing 2,250 BTC in a single day. This pushes BlackRock’s total BTC holdings to 627,986 BTC, valued at over $64.2 billion.

Ethereum ETFs also saw strong demand. Nine ETH funds posted a total net inflow of 27,202 ETH, approximately $68.66 million in value. Once again, BlackRock led with 22,097 ETH added, bringing its total ETH holdings to 1,281,114 ETH, worth about $3.23 billion.

The back-to-back ETF inflows reflect a sustained appetite for crypto exposure from institutional players, with BlackRock continuing to dominate ETF accumulation on both fronts.
