Singapore-based financial institution DCS Card Centre has partnered with Visa to launch DeCard, a next-generation prepaid card that supports top-ups using both fiat currencies and stablecoins, including USDT and USDC. The card is designed to operate seamlessly across 150 million merchants worldwide, according to Foresight News.

DeCard aims to make cross-border payments more efficient and affordable. Unlike traditional cards, it charges only a single exchange fee and offers more than 50% savings on foreign exchange fees compared to market averages. The card also integrates with Apple Pay and Google Pay, enhancing its usability in digital and contactless payment environments.

Built on a prepaid model, DeCard allows users to preload funds from either a bank account or a stablecoin wallet, providing flexibility for crypto-savvy consumers looking to bridge digital assets with everyday purchases. This move highlights the growing trend of stablecoin adoption in traditional finance and everyday payment infrastructure.
