Following a brief security breach, ether.fi has confirmed that its official Discord server is now back under control. In an update posted to X, the team announced that the malicious activity has been contained and that ongoing monitoring is in place to ensure no further threats emerge.
The Discord server was earlier compromised by attackers who posted fraudulent content and phishing links, prompting the team to immediately warn users against interacting with any in-server material. The situation has since stabilized, and no further malicious posts have been reported.
ether.fi is encouraging community members to remain vigilant and to report any unusual or suspicious activity within the Discord channel. The team also assured users that a detailed incident report will be released once the investigation is fully completed.
This incident adds to a growing list of Discord-related security breaches in the Web3 space, further underscoring the importance of multi-layered security measures for community platforms.
