According to Coinglass data reported by ChainCatcher, the crypto market saw $531 million in total liquidations over the past 24 hours. The majority of the pain hit long traders, with $377 million wiped out, while short positions saw $154 million in losses.

Among the assets:

  • BTC longs were liquidated for $141M, with BTC shorts at $19.3M.
  • ETH longs lost $66.9M, nearly matched by ETH shorts at $64.4M.

A total of 137,459 traders were liquidated, highlighting the volatility of the current market. The largest single liquidation came from a $17.35 million BTCUSDT position on Binance.

These figures suggest aggressive leverage trading amid recent market swings—particularly as BTC recently dropped below $118K and ETH fell under $3,600.
